Pharmacologic studies have shown that menthol prevents entrance of calcium ions into smooth muscle of the intestine walls similar to calcium channel antagonists, however, it cause relaxation of smooth muscles of the intestine and the lower esophageal sphincter, relieves spasms, and exhaust gas.

Adults: take 15-25 drops, 3-4 times daily.

Children (6-12 years): take 10-15 drops, 3-4 times daily.

Children (1-5 years): take 2-5 drops, 3-4 times daily.

In some cases, headache, muscle jump, restlessness and heartburn has been observed.

Each ml of product has been standardized based on 5-7.5 mg of menthol.
